Used Herman Miller Aerons in Kansas City
Should I buy a used Herman Miller Aeron? Yes, but you should know a few things first.
The Aeron chair was designed by Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf in 1994. It was deliberately designed to have a unique signature shape, as all previous ergonomic task chairs were beginning to look the same. It was designed to have no cushions and no fabric. This differentiation was the strategy that made the Aeron a classic and highly sought after chair. Today it is featured in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection.
When you search for the right used Used Herman Miller Aerons in Kansas City you should know that there are two basic designs. The Classic design is the original design (shown above), and the Posturefit model (shown below) is the latest design, with an improved lumbar support. All chairs will have pneumatic height adjustment, tilt tension, and fully adjustable arms. Some chairs will have a tilt lock feature as an add-on.
